Hi all

Just found the site, looks good. I am 5 weeks into a plumbing course and to be honest looking for insperation as we (30 lads) are feeling disalusioned with what we were told before the course and what we know now. I lost my job and have invested all my savings into this course and tools, van and the advertising when finished. Hopefully when we finish we will look back and smile but anybody looking into a fast track course realy think about what your doing before parting with the cash.
Look forward to looking through the reat of the forum.

P.S any plumbers who are new to the job in the Leeds/Bradford area?

when you start advertising don't do the leeds weekly news, i did and spent over ÂŁ300 for 6 weeks and i got 1 phone call and didn't even get that job

Thanks for that, is it work advertising in newsagents? i have got the van sign writen and it looks the buisness so when its on the road its advertising ready to go. in an ideal world it would have been good to work as a plumbers mate.

most of my advertising is on the net but when i first started i posted flyers door to door

Thanks for the imput , anymore info on getting started would be a help

Hi, basic question, any insight much appreciated. Looking to have an outdoor tap in my front porch fed from 15mm pex coming up from suspended floor. Pic 1 is inside porch, pex temporarily clipped to give an idea of pipe placement (ignore shoddy blockwork of booted cowboy builder!), Pic 2 is...
