Hi all!
New to all this and currently training to do my ACS for a change of career! (Had to grow up and stop playing with motorbikes)
I found this website while looking for information to write up some method statements but while I'm here, if there are any Gas Safe engineers in or around north London that wouldn't mind me tagging along every now and then so I can work through the jobs needed for my portfolio then that would be great! I'm not after a wage but a bit of lunch wouldn't be turned down! 😉

.. Hello and welcome ..

Hi Meramo81, you're never too old to play with motorbikes. Welcome to the forum. I can't help you out unless you fancy moving to Yorkshire but good luck in your quest.
Thanks everyone! Truth be told I'm having a change of career so I can afford to play with my own motorbikes! Hahaha! Fed up of the motortrade after 20 years.
Funny enough Darren, I spend my time between here and Leeds!

Welcome, how are you getting on with your training?

Morning Lou! Great thanks. I've worked in the motor trade my whole life so the combustion side of things makes perfect sense. I struggle with the write ups which is really frustrating because I understand what I'm doing but can't put it down on paper without over explaining everything. I think I'm over that now though. I've got a few practice write ups that I'm going to work through this week and I need to finish writing up a few more method statements then I just need to get out with some engineers and work through my portfolio. Work got in the way a bit over the summer because I was away a lot more than I thought I would be but I'm back on the case now.
