Hi all after having two faulty Salus wireless stats I have changed to a nest now . I am looking for a guide price to have it fitted by a local engineer around the Leicester area . I am 5 mins from junc 21 of the M1.

Thats a bit too cheap TBH recently fitted one nest gen 3 are about £200 if you shop around both receiver and interface need a 240v supply
 
I have the receiver and the nest already.
240v fuse spur next to boiler . All is ready to go just need the heat link wiring in correctly

I said give or take, they are advertised for supply and fit £249 from companies like argos
 
At least another few options there if you think about it mate.

Yeh..you could go for the retro look and connect to an old Vauxhall Vecta car battery stuck on a glass table,so acid leaking out bottom causes no damage..
Or just plug it into ya ciggy lighter point and restrict ya self to local trips to say lidles so you stay in range

Actually a wrote it...but that aside.the nest is a good bit OK kit..easy to use..but very over priced..this day and age ..think you should be looking for a piece of kit that controls more than ya heating over the interweb via ya whatever..lights...oven..security ect ..these basic bits of kit are a rip off really...

Haha. I agree with you it is a bit pricey but as we all know it quality does cost. Well 3rd gen does your hot water aswell. I think you asking a bit now to do your lights,oven,sec etc .. Rako does all that for you, now that is pricey.
