Main Meter Stopcock key- How to identify

I need to lower down the water pressure and have identify the stopcock at main water meter. I am not sure which one i need to buy. I have attached the picture although its not quite clear. Any advise will be helpful. Thanks

Looks like a standard square one, just a normal long key should do it

Turning the stopcock slightly closed will not reduce the pressure. It will reduce the maximum flow rate.

The how to reduce the pressure as even cold water comes with all lot of pressure in taps and whenever water is used the water pipes make noise

Thanks I got the point. I will still need the key in emergency as may need to stop the supply.
