I am looking for a heating engineer who specialises in underfloor heating and has experience with Wirsbo 20mm pePex (now Uponor) based UFH systems with older 1 1/4" brass manifolds.

My self installed UFH badly needs servicing. The the springs in the actuators have broken/weakened so the water wont circulate around some loops and the whole system needs flushing and balancing. After extensive enquiries I have managed to obtain sufficient replacement actuators from across the UK to replace all 12 loops (8 + 4 on two separate manifolds). The mixing valves may also require replacing.
I also need to discuss/consider an external thermostat and possibly upgrading wireless room stats and replacing the old gate valves with lever ball valves.

Uponor recommended installers charge £45 per hour travelling time which will cost me £120 before he starts work!!

Hi guys. I've been running an UFH installation/ repair business for 7 years now and one of my main frustrations is finding the parts for the UFH. I've got quite good at it over the years being able to recognise the manifold brand and generation by just looking at it but then I have to go through...

Hi, we had UFH installed dowstairs in our house recently, and I'm not 100% sure that it's connected correctly. I'd be grateful if someone could have a look at the diagrams and tell me if what the plumber did makes sense. The house is heated with an A2W Samsung/Joule heatpump. The buffer...

Hi Everyone I wasn’t sure whether to post this in here or UFH but hopefully I’m posting this in the correct group. I’m in the throes of a full renovation and am currently designing the central heating system, I’m installing radiators (11 or 12 in total) and am going to run each rad from its...
