Ideal logic combi
Anybody had issues with the bottom of heat exchanger blocking - first thought was air/ gas ratio ,but found when removing condensate trap completely including rubber connection elbow noise on initial fire up stopped ,as boiler was getting air it needed, flushed with boiling water no change only bit I can’t see is directly above plastic sump/ bottom heat exchanger.regards Matt

Take the burner off and look down inside the hex, all these ideals and the previous ones block up if not serviced

Has it been properly serviced?
Yes fully stripped and flushed with boiling water, only bit I can’t see if it’s clear is under side of heat exchanger, going to inspect with camera through sump cover, then if blocked will have to snap sump of and clean and replace with new sump

If you have flushed through with water it can’t be blocked.
I would be looking at flue, trap and condensate pipework.
