Leaky tap. How does the cartridge come out?!

Hi all,


Super novice question - but I how do get this cartridge out? The tap is leaking from the base (under the sink). I was going to see if replacing the o-rings does the trick but I can't seem to get the retainer nut thing out as there isn't a bolt on top of the tread like I've seen in every other tap and I don't want to force it.


Is it removed from the bottom when the whole tap comes off?

That off-white collar will unscrew then the cartridge should lift out. Looks like that's what the 2 cut outs are for.
Not seen that exact tap before, but that's how I'd start.

Thin jawed adjustable in the gaps, then use another adjustable on that to unscrew it

Whats the tap make & what hot water system do you have? There's reason for the Qs.
