Hi Guys,

Wonder if someone can help?

It's a new installation, I turned the water on for the first time which was all good.
Got kitchen taps working and drainage working..
When it came to the macerator pushing the water out it started to spray water at the seal.
Just below jubilee clip
Where the white and black meet.

Any help would be really appreciated 👍🏻

Best regards

Derek

I don’t recognise that macerator but I’m guessing that the white elbow in not pushed fully onto the black spigot.

Loosen the jubilee clip, push the elbow down as far as it will go and retighten the jubilee, don’t over tighten it.

Check assembly instructions again for a missing part between the white and black soft rubber parts.

This is the insert along with the clear bit of rubber that was in there where the red arrow points to

The ‘ clear bit of rubber ‘ is a non return valve.

If that assembly in your hand is just pushed into the black bit on top of the macerator - that is where your leak is , between the two black bits.
I think you’ve put it together wrong.
Have another look

I have tried to push the white part with the bend.
Down further on to the black part of the Macerator.. but what is happening inside is preventing me pushing it down further

Put the valve flap back in the nrv holder and test five times that the flap closes every time without failing once.
Push the complete assembly into the black rubber hose all the way up to the shoulder with the flap opening in the correct direction.
Push the white rubber elbow over the nrv holder until it is touching the lid of the tank and tighten with the jubilee clip without twisting the elbow.

Flo Force are cheeky feckers, first they make a Saniflo copy pump then say Saniflo accessories are available!
