Hi

I was wondering if someone could please tell me how to connect the flex pipe from sink overflow drain in to waste trap below? It is the Cooke & Lewis Waste Kit ‘B’

If I can add pictures then I can show?

Hi

Yeah please send some photos so we can take a looksie

The overflow tube just seems to sit in the side of the waste trap so if it's draining then it's ok but if plug is in and full sink, if plug is removed then it pours out side as too much flow to all go down at once.
I've had to work with what was there before so sorry for the mess!

Looks like your missing a couple of parts should be a nut and some sort of rubber o ring or similar to connect overflow to basket strainer waste.
Horizontal is fine with correct bits!

I manage to find the part I need as missing. A small black washer type. When that is inside the nut it seems stop water coming back out.

Another silly question is should you see the white plastic waste trap below or should it line up with stainless steel strainer? Or does it matter. See photos.

Ideally line up if you can but in reality it doesn’t matter

Thanks Shaun.

Do you know how I could make this pipe sit further left? Wife used to store toaster on shelf to right but now it doesn’t fit by about 10mm! Nightmare!

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
