Hi guys...I'm a bit confused, I posted the following a few hours ago:

Hi there

Intergas 28/24 is cycling through the following codes on DHW suppy. 3, 4, 6, 3, 1, x repeat. So boiler produces hot water goes cold/off starts again and repeats. Any ideas what would cause this. Many thanks

Tunni

Following that i got some interesting (some amusing, like wait!) but unhelpful responses. But not one real answer at all, which for a national, possibly international forum of industry experts really surprises me.

To reiterate I asked if anyone had any idea what could cause the fault codes 3,4,6,3,1. I'm not interested in how long it would take to order parts, or whether I need a gas safe engineer to repair the boiler, or being informed of schoolboy physics ie that ANY fuel burned releases poisonous gases. I politely asked a question and if you don't know the answer I respect that it may not be your area of expertise. I love a bit of banter and especially humour....BUT I would love to hear from someone who knows the answer if possible.

That way I can continue my plan to dominate and destroy the known universe with dodgy plumbing skills and a forged gas safe certificate. ;-)

Nothing confusing about it.

You need a gsr as you were told before. You don't need to know what the fault is.

What you really need to do is go back and read the forum rules regarding gas appliances to discover why you're not receiving the answer you think you deserve rather than the one you actually need. This is why we are experts in this industry. To save the lives of people who don't know that they're in danger.

Please don't ask again.

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...

Hi, basic question, any insight much appreciated. Looking to have an outdoor tap in my front porch fed from 15mm pex coming up from suspended floor. Pic 1 is inside porch, pex temporarily clipped to give an idea of pipe placement (ignore shoddy blockwork of booted cowboy builder!), Pic 2 is...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
