Hi everyone, I want to fit a tall rad in my bathroom which will be fed from above, but I would like to keep the pipework to a minimum. Is it necessary to run both pipes to the bottom of the rad, flow to the bottom and return to the top, or will it work with both to the top? I'm not sure as yet if the rad has baffles as i have not yet disconnected it to move it. Advice please. Many thanks.

For ANY radiator, it won't work with both to the top unless you can somehow cobble a dip tube out of small bore pipe for the return. One needs to be at the bottom otherwise heat will stay at the top.

Obviously a towel rail may have specific requirements that will vary by manufacturer.
