Thanks for your reply, basicly just trying to find out the correct name and model and how old it is, recently replaced flow sensor with a GRANTS flow switch, coudnt find one for RHINO, Just be handy to know where to alter temperature for water and maybe tinker a bit if their was any more probs, all bestI'm curious as to why you need to know?
It's a typical oil combi, pressure jet burner, sealed system with expansion vessel and pressure relief valve, two circulating pumps, one for hot water circuit then other for central heating (one of which looks like it's been replaced) and each incorporating non return valves. You'll have a temperature mixing valve governing hot water temperature and a boiler stat and frost stat as it's an external model.
Thanks guys, appreciatedOnly one thermostat for boiler water temperature. Hot water controlled by mixing valve.
Nothing in there to tinker with.
The happy smiley face looks like a frost stat, retro fitted.
many thanksIt's a Rhino 90 combi by the looks of it. I'm assuming a manual could be found online for it, although I haven't looked. Apparently flow switches are still available for it or as you said can be adapted with some other makes. If everything is working fine please dont tinker as you say.
