If it's a one-off you have a sealed system and it's a one-off, try something like this:

Fernox Superconcentrate Central Heating Protector - NoLinkingToThis, Where the Trade Buys

which comes with an applicator allowing you to add the inhibitor via the filling loop.

Alternatively, you could try draining the system and adding the stuff to a heated towel rail (ladder type) if you're lucky enough to have one - just remove one of the caps / bleed valves from the top and pour it in before refilling.

The Fernox Super - concentrate CH Protector looks very small and also does it contain a frost inhibitor - I was looking at the Fernox Alpha 11 (5 litres) which does, as this is very important because where we live can be - 20 degrees in the winter. We do not live at the property over the winter so last year (when property was aquired) we drained the central heating system completely to shut off. Do not have a towel rail.

I haven't looked at it in detail, but I've never noticed a "super concentrate" product - 300ml or so designed for sealed systems - that does frost protection.

If you're not using one of the purpose-designed bits of kit for adding treatment to sealed systems, you just need to get it in the system somehow ... use a bit of ingenuity!

You could take off one of the blanking caps from a normal radiator, screw in a compression elbow with a bit of tube attached and pour it in with a funnel. All the solutions like this will require your system to be de-pressurized, so it's not that much more effort to drain down completely....
