screw broke off. dont want to remove wall.

Could you get a new cartridge? Eg the bit that the screw has broken in
 
I think he needs a US equivalent of this forum. Looks very much like a faucet and very little like a tap. I've only ever mended taps.

Oh, I see we're international now! I'll shut my mouth and see if we have any American members who can assist.
 
Indeed we appear to be global ...the problem with this enquiry is that USA and Canadian threads on things are usually different not only regarding Diameter but the pitch is often different CHKing
