Discuss How far can slab cold water inlet be from shower tap - 1200mm? in the Bathrooms, Showers and Wetrooms area at PlumbersForums.net

The hole in the slab for cold water shower tap inlet is 1200mm away from where it needs to be. Is this a problem?

The bathroom is on the second storey (concrete slab) and it looks like the builders may have put the plumbing for the shower inlet about 1200mm away from where it needs to be. Is this an issue or can horizontal plumbing be used to move it 1.2m?

The builders went into liquidation so we are trying to work out if a redesign is necessary before starting with new builders.

Cheers in advance for the help!

Our kitchen mixer tap has started dripping. Like so much of the plumbing in our almost new build bungalow, it is lacking! The plumber didn't install any isolating cocks in the H&C feed to the tap so how can I identify which of the valves is passing? Shut the whole H&C water system down?
