Hi to everybody,
I'm Jose 32 years old with about fourteen years experience, based in Chelmsford and working all around Essex and London. I have been working in the UK for more than 7 years now and I'm in a point where I think I'd need a partner to take the business to a next level... I have so much work to do and at the end I only have two hands. I have tried three plumbers in the last three months and for one reason or another none of them was worth to keep, I suppose many of you have been in similar situations where is so difficult to find someone decent and reliable.
For this reason I thought maybe was a good idea having a business partner but I know nobody. Have any of you been in a similar situation, any idea about how/where to find a business partner?
Any recommendations or opinions welcome.

Many thanks

Hi Jose
Sorry for the late reply.
Thanks for joining our forum.
We do have a plumbers looking for work section.
Have you checked it out yet?

Hi Jose,

I'm also looking for a plumbing business partner so perhaps we could help eachother out. I previously teamed up with a aquaintence who is a plumber/gas engineer to build the business from just himself - we got up to 3 subcontractors but unfortunately his appetite for expansion fizzled out with a young family.

It was a great experience and I now have a great and somewhat unique business model that I would love to rollout again with the right person. I am not a plumber myself - my background is in engineering and IT. I took care of everything not directly on the tools;

-Customer service
-Call centre
-Custom web and mobile app
-Bookkeeping
-Payroll
-Pensions
-Recruitment
-Digitial marketing/SEO
-Web design
-Direct marketing

I share your pain with dealing with subcontractors as that can be the biggest issue but its just part of the journey unfortunately. It's very difficult to build a business while you're still on your on the tools so I understand your position completely.

Welcome to the forum, thanks for posting. Is it a business partner you are looking for?

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
