Hi there,

We've got a loo seat that doesn't have any visible screw fixings. It's got two sliders on the front (see photos) and at the back another slider which is sprung. We just can't get it off - we aren't sure whether the front sliders need to bee pushed outwards or inwards. And do we need to pull very hard to get it off? It is very loose, so all we want to do is tighten it up...

Sorry - I've just realised how gross that second picture is !! ;-)

Help please! Sarah

It slides forward eg the whole loo seat

so would say the front sliders need to be in and the back slider you will have to experiment with

Hi there,
Thanks that worked a treat! Now that we've got it off we're trying to tighten up the screws, but they just keep turning round. Any ideas?
Cheers, Sarah

Try lifting up as you tighten if that doesn’t work sounds like there stripped and you need some new ones

eg

Yeah, we tried taking them out, but even that seems like a problem! They just turn. Think we might need to get a pro in!! ;-)
