I've recently had a new bathroom installed, including a new towel rail. The plumber also installed a new tank in the airing cupboard as the old one began to leak while he was here. Every time I have the central heating on now, there are loud bangs and cracks from the pipes. It even does it hours after the heating is turned off. The noise moves around as well, from room to room. I think it might be an air pocket. I've bled the rads several times but no joy. Someone told me about using an inhibitor. Can I do this myself? What do I have to do, and where do I pour the inhibitor? Thanks.
