I am a gsr engineer. I want help as to know where it might be quicker to start looking first.

I am thinking port valve is stock open to primary and there is a flow resistance to secondary going to feed the heat exchanger that heat up hot water which might explain the slight heat in dhw.
by the way i am also new to this forum.
Thanks for your help in advance

Hi Black

You won't get the advice you are after in the public forums here, because it might be read by non-GSR people who then decide to have a bash at their own boiler. However, if you hang around a while and increase your post count, there is a process to get into the private GSR only forum, where advice will be more forthcoming.

might be better to say if your talking a bout an ext 3 way port with motorised valve on a heating circuit or if its in a boiler case, which if it is means you wont get an answer till you prove what youve said.
