i am working on a lesuire park just now, the owner wants to get rid of a massive feed cistren and put the shower block on mains, the shower block contains a copper cylinder !!!!

is this ok,

so you use cold mains.
are you still going to use gravity hot ? what is going to supply the copper cylinder ?
if so you'll need to fit pressure reducer valve on the cold so they are equal.

you cannot put mains cold to a normal DHW cylinder it would have to be a un vented.
mains cold and gravity hot would be difficult to balance at each shower, sometimes they have limiters that are internal to the shower for mains kits. its not normal practice to have different pressures
