Hello,
I have a Grassun Towerchron QE2 control unit which keeps losing its settings.
I have reset it so many times but it stays on for a day or so then loses the settings again.
Even when the unit does hold its setting there is there is no hot water.

I have 2x queries:
1) if the controller is holding its settings but faulty in another way, would that stop the water getting hot
2) could ta faulty boiler/system be the cause of the controller losing it settings?

Or is it a coincidence that both the control unit and the boiler are faulty
Best Regards:dizzy2:

Do you mean grasslin ?

Have you checked the back up battery ( if it's accessible)

Hello, sorry I misread, it should read Grasslin. Re the battery, It says in the manual it is not replaceable.
Regards.

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
