well i've been using my footprints lately and can honestly say that they are really easy to use. very comfortable feel in the hand and very secure on nuts. used it today side by side with knipex alligators on a syphon re-diaphragm on a low level cistern and must say the footies worked better for me than the alligators. i now have two pairs a nine inch set and little six inchers. i think i have been converted lol

plumbers of the world are united that footprints are a real tool, as said the thumb turn ones are guff, if you dont lose "real" footprints they last 20yrs, ok they wear a bit and eventually when you get a new pr you realise how worn they were and the new ones are superb, like everything else the right tool for the job makes the job easy, however i hate seeing people use footprints on rad nuts etc as they chew them up,
