I bought a torch a few years ago that uses EN417 butane/propane cylinders.

As someone who only uses a torch now and again, the torch has been fine on smaller copper pipe but struggles on 22mm, especially in the cold.

I have seen an adaptor by Monument (437a) which I think should allow me to run Propane or even Mapp cylinders which would give me the extra heat...

Given I like the actual torch and the adaptor is only about £15 which is considerably cheaper than buy a new torch, is there any reason not to go down this route?

Thanks in advance,

Peter
