Hi,

got a customer with a cupboard on ground floor that houses consumer unit and gas meter.
He wants to put a toilet in there, is ther any regs against this? as it would be right underneath the consumer unit.
Waste outlet and water supply are not a problem and there is a small window.

Thanks for replies in advance

The main issue with a macerator type WC is that there must be at least one regular (flushing) WC in the property aswell.

Who mentioned macerators?

Anyway, I disagree! The main problem with macerators is that someone has to open them when they fail :)

always call your local saniflo engineer its saves you nice plumbers feeling sick when repairing them
also it is advisable for an installation to have adequate ventilation to stop nasty smells
