I can clip it up when I box it in, all the joints are solid, the pex was used as it was cheaper and quicker to fit. Is there an issue with having pex connected to copper via compression? It’s not the neatest job, any reason why plastic and copper was used? It should be clipped, as no clips and compression joints, there’s a risk of a leak from sagging or catching the pipe. Was a plumber/heating engineer used or a handy person?
No, as long as inserts are used. It was more because the pipe was sagging and seemed odd using 2 materials. Is there an issue with having pex connected to copper via compression?
Not too worried about the looks of it as I’m boxing it in, it will be clipped also but I have no clue on how reliable pex isNo, it looks like utter gash. As above done by a handyman, and not a very handy one at that.
No mate had a family member in to do it.Ah. I see, you did it yourself?
Now I'm really confused, how are you decorating behid it?

Easy enough with a long handle mini roller and a short pile sleeve. Now I'm really confused, how are you decorating behid it?
And dont put a towel rail on a surface other than tiled, the moisture from the towels damages it.Shocking get it changed so theres need to box in
Should I have the pex replaced with copper?Shocking get it changed so theres need to box in
Not much considering those compression elbows. I don't think that was the deciding factor here, probably a DIY'er so no need to solder, bend etc.How much was saved by using pex instead of copper?
