There is a small area of discolouration on the kitchen ceiling beneath where the bath is located.

I first noticed this a few weeks ago.

Can anying help?
 
Ok, 1st step would be to check visually in the bathroom for any signs of water on the floor etc, eg from behind the basin, toilet. 2nd step would be to remove the bath panel and check for wetness.

I have a leaking wall mounted bathroom tap
I have a wall mounted bathroom tap that leaks. Presumably I need a washer of sorts replaced. I cannot work out which tool I need to remove the tap. There is a small hole (8mm?) to the side but I can’t seem to get a fixing from either a alum key or screwdriver. Ever hopeful…? Matt

Should I Replace Hot-water Cylinder?
I have a vented hot-water cylinder that was installed when the house was built - 38 years ago! It has a header tank in the loft and the cylinder is located directly above the ceiling of a new and expensive kitchen. It does not leak and causes no obvious problems. Should it be replaced? Advice...
