As above does anyone have any recommendations ? TIA

TBH, I keep meaning to ........
The subject was discussed with recommendations before hence I guided you to the search box.

I have the Nextbase 512GW which had been in the last van & transferred to new van last October. Still need to get it hard wired in though.
Has recorded a few near miss incidents & dickheads on the roads getting aggy when they don't get there own way.
Just ask them to smile for the camera filming them soon makes them backtrack.
Other option which i used a couple of years ago was an app on an old smart phone as they generally have good camera's & built in sat nav so more useful than trading in for peanuts,
Not had any issues with the 512GW nextbase though,
Hope it helps,
Andy

Any Dashcam is better than having none, but you want a good clear film quality and for it to work well in darkness.
The Nextbase 512 GW has Wifi and also has a magnetic back plate that you can remove the dashcam from - handy also if you but a second back plate if you have another vehicle for the weekend.
One other brilliant optional extra is a rear camera (about £30) to suit the 512 GW, which works by Wi-fi and no extra memory card needed.
