Just as it says, how long does it take to tell us to shut the doors again?

Was it only me that thought we had done well until school, colleges and uni went back?

Nope, both me and wife have said the same. She read a message before, someone posted: “why are super spreaders like schools and uni’s allowed, but can’t play golf with massive social distancing?”

I feel it was a mistake to let the young adults go to colleges and uni. Remember one quote in a paper when the police closed down a big party and one student said "Whoa man, we`re supposed to be having the time of our lives!"

Yeah, trouble is they'll be coming back home to parents and grand parents for Xmas.

And, presumably, back college again straight after Xmas to ensure optimal mixing and hence spread within the student population. Probably safest to steer clear of anyone who looks under 25 for the next year or so...

I think they want the younger generation to get the virus so they can get over it then have some sort of herd immunity they can then get on with their lives ?? Problem is the older you get the immunity gained will only last a shorter time, Christmas time will the test stay well people. Kop

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...

Hello all, I’m replacing a concrete paving slab patio in the back yard. The original patio used 50mm deep concrete slabs on hardcore & sand. I’m planning to pour a 100mm deep concrete patio on 100mm hardcore. In order to achieve the same final height to line up with the rest of the patio, I...
