Busy day then ;)

Yea had a decom the length of 3" so the welders could install the tee

Then pressure test the whole line

Then tt for 4 hours it's on test over night as I cba to remove the gauge yet

Anyone want to guess the test pressures ?

Time for home dam it was cold today

First gauge 6.50 am

Second was 8am

Gives you an idea how temp adjusts the pressure will rise back upto 60 if I left it long enough

You can tell by the flanges on the pipework they're not rated to any sort of pressure, maybe 150psi/10bar?

Do you use ANSI raised face flanges in commercial heating/gas or do you have some weird old British standard?

I did a commissioning job on a gas platform, gas came out of the ground at 750bar and 75C. It was mainly welded pipework with some graylock/techlock type clamps.

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...
