Hi peeps,

Can anyone help me ? One radiator isn’t getting hot and the boiler switches off, Ive checked the rad trvs they all good, rang potterton and grundfos they aren’t sure.
Was told everything in the extension was install 4 months ago. Anyone know what that problem might be ?

Cheers

You could have a blockage, does the trv pin move up and down freely, any air trapped inside, do the pipes get warm?, is the lock shield (opposite to trv) open?, has any work been carried out in this 3 weeks?

Was only there for half hour as I had to shoot over to another job, client couldn’t get hold of the original plumber, will be there tomorrow. Is it worth taking my powerflush gear with me ?

It might be worth it, although for x1 radiator it might not be. I would look at just the one radiator for now, unless you feel a need to power flush the system?

The rad not working is in the new extension?

If so get the daft tw@t back.

Was told the previous plumber got all the gear from grant and stones and isn’t answering his phone. Do you reckon is a faulty radiator?

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...
