Hello everyone,

I need a bit help around a noise coming from possible pipes.

I live in a end terrace house and when my next door neighbour runs their water, a clicking sound can be heard from where our toilet sits. I’m pretty sure it’s not the toilet making the noise, but more behind it and in the wall.

The clicking sounds only last for a few seconds, I believe it click around 5-6 times before it stops.

Thank you for reading my post.

Clicking sounds have numerous causes. Hot water makes pipes and drains expand and contract. A slight drip can make a clicking sound. We have an internal water meter in one house that clicks quite loudly. Do you share a drain in this party wall ?
