My tap is dripping and it's becoming a lot worse - I think I need to replace the ceramic disc valves but i'm having trouble identifying the tap in order to find the right replacements. Anyone know what model/make this is?

Any tips on where I could look would be great :)

It looks like the one I have. If so, it’s a Blanco BM/4550. I bought it from Homebase or B&Q (can’t exactly remember), but I do have the Installation sheet and it has a number for after sales and spares....01923 635300

Have you tried removing a cartridge and taking it to a plumbers merchant?
Most tap cartridges are one of the standard sizes and replacement pairs can be bought locally for less than a tenner. Replacements from the manufacturers are likely to be £30-£70.
Always worth replacing both sides because the other cartridge is just as old as the failed one.
If you do this, take the tap handle too to make sure the new cartridges will fit the handle.

Our kitchen mixer tap has started dripping. Like so much of the plumbing in our almost new build bungalow, it is lacking! The plumber didn't install any isolating cocks in the H&C feed to the tap so how can I identify which of the valves is passing? Shut the whole H&C water system down?

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...

Can anyone recommend a decent multi meter, preferably under a 100 pounds. It's for checking boiler components so I don't need a top spec one ....just easy to use and reliable. The fluke 115 looks good but its above my budget. My current socket and see one was great but it's developed a fault.
