Discuss Boiler pressure is too low, filling loop in the UK Plumbing Forum | Plumbing Advice area at PlumbersForums.net

Hi all

Moved to flat recently, and the heating is not very good. I realized the pressure is too low, below 1 bar. It is Meibes, product number 10920.26 OH5

So I am looking how to fix it. I am only a DIY'er, so bare with me.

In the diagram you can see the fill loop mentioned, but that is not installed as you see in the picture. So, do I need to connect those two with a pipe/hose (?) and open the valves on both end to fill the pressure?

Those connectors are 1 inch wide, when I search filling loops, the standard ones look small, 15 mm? How can I find one fitting to here?

Thanks

The two red valves with brass caps on eg the blue circled but the pressure looks fine and tbh the heating would still work with 0.5 bar in it so if it’s not it’s something else
