Following on from Masoods DDM1 or DDM3 thread, I need a new 117mm core bit, there are loads out there, I would think quite a few the same just badged up different
What have you got, is it any good, or what would you recommend

they all wear out so cheaper ones are just as good as expensive ones, especially as one rogue wall tie will kill any core drill!!

Don't buy cheap ones unless you like hanging onto a drill.
Not all diamonds are the same.
Rebar and wall ties just slow you down a bit especially the old fishtail ones but no reason to stop.

Had a cheapy ryobi set, 60 quid.
wall ties stoped them dead.

marcrist cx850? Set

what wall ties?

I bought a Marcrist kit with the hoover etc about 8-10 yrs ago, the drills a bit like triggers broom and I have replaced various core bits over the years, mainly the cheap versions
Just wondered what others are using or would recommend

i am looking at this kit at the moment!!

Hi. I need a new toilet supply line but don’t know the size type of the fitting at the shut off valve. It is not 3/8 compression. It is a plastic nut about the same size as the one going into the cistern but has a different thread. Attached is a photo. Can you advise. Thanks.
