dublin plumber

any ideas ???
a client had a firm do a power flush on system with a lot of rusty rads , boiler had been working poorly with rattling noises, now no rads will heat up, just a flow going through the coil, checked filter in it on drain off valve , a small bit of crud in it , before i get a heat exchanger any ideas ? or can you clean one out .

if the main heat exchanger is sludged up severely the boiler would reach temperature very quickly , my suggestion is prevention is better than cure ,replace your heat exchanger and fit a filter on the return pipe that catches magnetic and non magnetic debris at the same time

hi,
went to do that , and when draining down the boiler on its own i got 2 buckets of sludge /rust out of it , cleaned the small filter out , opened anything ,minus the heat exchanger , put all back together , switched it on and off she went , running great now !!

Good man, glad you got it sorted. Down your way on Wednesday. Church in Clondalkin to do a boiler service in.

Watch yer back, the men in black are on the prowl and they like a bit of strange, in Clondalkin.
