After a warm shower my bathroom cold tap sometimes won’t turn on any ideas what could cause it? I still have water downstairs

Could be coincidence and the innards are sticking? What style tap is it?

FWIW if the appliance is in an adjacent cupboard its not in the zone obviously all circuits in a bathroom must have rcd protection
