Discuss Bath tap heads - unusual type in the USA area at PlumbersForums.net

My father's bath has unknown make tap heads, which turn one way for the side filler & the other for the shower. The heads are a bit like upside-down saucepans but with rectangular block handles - the saucepan look was everywhere a few years ago IIRC (a bit like the pic 😂). However AFAICT, they attach to the ceramic cartridge by means of a grub screw pressing on a machined groove, rather than the usual splined shaft. Unfortunately, I didn't get a photo. Can anyone recognise these by this description?

I've spent ages looking at heads and cartridges online but have only seen splined cartridges, not this other method of attachment.

The reason for asking as the "saucepan handle/block" has snapped off one of them, leaving a smooth round cylinder he can't grip. I'm trying to find a replacement pair of new heads although it might be easier to fabricate a new screw...

Any ideas?
Many thanks
