Hi,
Can anyone suggest the best way to fit a bath screen wall profile when the silcone at the bottom is sitting proud at the bath edge and prevents the profile from sitting flush . Cutting the silcone back slightly has caused slight leaks behind the bath.

Remove the silicone.

Drill/plug all holes for screen, clean up with meths/isopropanol .

Silicone 2” behind where profile will go and screw profile to wall before it sets.
But of silicone inside profile where it sits on top of bath. Fit the screen.

Fill up bath with water.

Clean up wall/bath joint with meths/isopropanol, then re-silicone. Leave water in bath for 24hrs.

Hi,

Thanks for advice, but are you saying to run a 2" bead horizontal across the bottom before screwing back .

Thanks

I have attached an image of the brass body within a tap. Having replaced a cartridge which has cured a leaking tap, I can see that there is a small leak from the brass body which can be unscrewed. Is there a seal behind the body? Thanks.
