I’d like to replace the toilet in my house with a back to wall one. The plan is to build a panel on stud work to conceal the cistern and then use the existing soil pipe which goes out to the right.

All the back to wall toilets on Victoria Plum have a cross through the side waste which has confused me.

Can I not just use a flexible pan connector for this? The distance from the centre of the waste pipe to the panel is 120mm so I don’t think a 90 degree single socket will work.

Any tips here would be appreciated. Cheers!

All that means is that you can't have side exit on the W.C pan side of the wall.
It's obvious really as there isn't a hole in the side of the pan to exit the pipe, but they've probably had people comment / complain that they couldn't so have had to highlight it.

Just use suitable 90 elbow pan connector inside the box, no need for a flexi.

Nice one, thanks mate

You could use a 110mm coupling and elbow and a straight pan connector

As part of a slow DIY bathroom refit I've removed the old toilet from the original location next to the soil pipe (and obviously capped off the branch) and plan to place it the opposite end of the room. I was pretty lucky to find a 110mm sewer waste pipe below the old sink which is the new...
