What’s this message automatically merged business. I won’t to be able to compose individual posts in quick succession:mad:

Where does it say that?

Ffs, I can’t add just the image. I’ve gotta type some words:mad:

You can use the quote tab instead of the reply for multi quote / answers if you wish any help ?

If you reply to two separate posts separately the system turns it into a multi quote reply shaun.

Yes new system across all forums

We provide free content that attracts readers to the website. When a reader clicks a Google Ad, Google charges the advertiser and the website owner gets a cut of the fee.

And UKPF wants us to subscribe ( pay) as well? So the forum is all about profiteering?

Ahem, I should re-phrase that.... pay to not see the adverts.

Dan, is this staying or will you be willing to disable it in time as it is annoying.
Why on earth would you want to reply a dozen times on a page, and not just edit your one reply with the content of your dozen posts? You just trying to knock you post count up?

If you reply within 90 minutes, it will kick in. If you have a thread you reply to weekly with an update for example, that wont kick it in.

It's staying.

The forum needs income to run. Like any business.

The subscription is optional. So just don't. Can't be more clear than that matey.

Edit: Okay I've sent these posts to a thread of their own so you can rant between yourselves. :)

The automerge is to stop somebody constantly clicking reply to posts before them, and having a whole new post created for each reply. It tidies the forum up. It's nothing to do with advertisements at all. It's a benefit to the forum. Stops cluttered threads.

We have actually had it running on the forum before but we turned it off at some point because it clashed with another customisation.

If you can't give constructive feedback, don't give it at all. I don't mind getting rid of accounts that are causing lots of augmentative posts.

Be friendly or just leave the forum. I've installed a 'Member Self-Delete' system on Tilers and Electricians and encouraged all knobheads to click it as fast as they can. And go play on facebook where it's unmoderated, underinvested, advertisement-heavy, sell your personal data to thousands of advertisers and spammers.

Or shut up and stay here.

Left with you then.

Ideal Logic 24, Previous problem was that the hot water was only cold or barely warm if the heating was in use. If heating was off and boiler cold then would get hot water most of the time. Changing the flow cartridge about 2 years ago (when I moved in) solved this problem enough to suffer it as...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

Hi. I need a new toilet supply line but don’t know the size type of the fitting at the shut off valve. It is not 3/8 compression. It is a plastic nut about the same size as the one going into the cistern but has a different thread. Attached is a photo. Can you advise. Thanks.
