What sort of courses can an electrician do to get into heating ?Yes but also learn / go deeper into heating system wiring etc / smart heating systems
Also dive into smart homes
Would that be a viable option to get into both also is there much of a pay difference between a spark and gas engineerWith government making a push towards heatpumps, EVs and probably a higher demand for air conditioning Electrical skills will always be in demand; however there will be a demand for gas qualified plumbers for a long time yet. You can always establish yourself in one field then branch into another with education and training. There's a lot of crossover between the disciplines anyway.
