Hi Paul and welcome,

Never seen them before but looking interesting to me. I cannot tell you really if they're good or not. My experience with spring toggles or hollow wall anchor are good. I cannot complain about those cavity fixings. I was just thinking if you really had so much space to fit the big plastic inside the cavity ? Sometimes you won't have that much space but It's worth trying the geefix if you ask me. I definitely will give it a go thanks for sharring.

I would say no from me plasterboard will only hold so much all your doing is spreading the load out to a bigger surface area and in theory this is great, but the base material needs to be able to take the load

Anything over 1m x 60cm is a no go for plasterboard unless your fixing directly to timbers behind

Thanks for your thoughts. Will post how I get on. Ideally I would have liked timber instead of plasterboard but I think the Geefix will be my best option

Hi, I recently used these Gee fixings and would recommend them. They are holding very securely a towel radiator 1100mm X 600mm. Very neat and easy to use. However I would suggest only using them as a last resort as a stud is the best choice

The fittings below are for a mixer bar attached to a self contained shower. i.e not a wall. The attaching screws have snapped. I could get two new brackets, dismantle that existing one and start again or I could try and re attach via those screws, removing the broken ones from the plate and wall...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

Hi. I need a new toilet supply line but don’t know the size type of the fitting at the shut off valve. It is not 3/8 compression. It is a plastic nut about the same size as the one going into the cistern but has a different thread. Attached is a photo. Can you advise. Thanks.
