Hello all,

Today I was replacing a CC WC with a concealed cistern and BTW pan (in a cabinet). The CC pan was bedded on mortar, I couldn't understand why as the connector was going into the floor, then low and behold when I chipped the mortar away I came across this...

pan connector (2).jpg

2 x 90 deg pan conn's joined to convert LL drain position to CC.... well I never?

Wonders never cease... :rolleyes:o_O

There is never an easy job is there? What are you going to do now?

Iā€™m more interested in watching him silicone the outside of the cubicle next to the basin. :D:D

I managed it with one of these https://www.NoLinkingToThis/p/p-c-cox-rotating-nozzles-5-pack/3462x

A number of things occurred to me HF I must say. Hey ho, so long as it's Goodenough .:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Haha, I've had the mick taken for many moons on my surname :D

You mean you just left the waste like that Hmmmm, is the tray fitted surley not them wall's need repairing . Kop

No didn't leave the soil like that, new long 90 deg Multiqwik.

Ruthless! I'd be concerned more about that badly discoloured pushfit tee and Flexi combo...did that get replaced?

Yep all replaced with new, by the way the cistern FV was a pig to connect to, wouldn't take a tap connector of any sort and to 1/2" FI x 15 elbow.

Here's some pics of the "dodgy" pan connector removed and the finished job.

Cheers chaps:)
