Hi
I recently had an IC Economiser Combi 35 installed with piping upgraded from 15mm to 22mm. A different engineer (ie not the one who installed it) came out today to address a pump overrun issue and, in addition to flagging up a couple of settings which were still on factory default and a slight kink in the piping, pointed out that the pipe diameter is too small resulting in not enough pressure - it should be 28mm.
The run is approx 6.5m, with 7 90-deg elbow fittings, and 1 t-junction which also serves the gas fire. I've input these details into the Baxi Toolbelt app and and it appears to be adequate - it shows only a 0.65 mb drop in pressure. That said, I may be missing something obvious here. I've since spoken to the bloke who came this morning, and unfortunately he can't remember the details he used.
I'd like to get a 2nd, independant opinion. Can anyone recommend an ATAG engineer in the Bedford area please?
Thanks
