Hello all,
This is my first post on this forum.
I am going to put in a small cloakroom on the first floor of my house. The SVP from the downstairs bathroom runs up and connects to one of those ridge tile things. When we built the house I had a t piece added to the SVP just above 1st floor level for when the time came to do this other upstairs toilet. The waste from the new back to wall toilet will have to run about 4m to the already fitted t piece but and there is ample fall. The basin waste will also go into this new waste pipe. However I am unsure if I need to fit an AAV at any point? Would I need one above the basin? I haven't spoken to a plumber as yet I'm just trying to get an idea of what fittings etc I need.
Advice much appreciated and thanks in advance.

I suspect the toilet will present no problems but for basin and bath wastes I now fit anti-syphonic traps as standard. Belt and braces!

Hi. I need a new toilet supply line but don’t know the size type of the fitting at the shut off valve. It is not 3/8 compression. It is a plastic nut about the same size as the one going into the cistern but has a different thread. Attached is a photo. Can you advise. Thanks.

The fittings below are for a mixer bar attached to a self contained shower. i.e not a wall. The attaching screws have snapped. I could get two new brackets, dismantle that existing one and start again or I could try and re attach via those screws, removing the broken ones from the plate and wall...
