TRV Tuna (801) was one of three Torpedo Recovery Vessels operated by the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) and Defence Maritime Services (DMS). Ordered in 1969, the vessel, originally identified as TRV 253, was completed in 1970 and assigned to the torpedo firing range at Jervis Bay. The ship received a name and the pennant number "TRV 801" in 1983. In 1988, the three vessels were sold to DMS. Tuna was assigned to the naval base at HMAS Creswell in Jervis Bay. Tuna was active in DMS service as of 2007.

Hi guys
I have replaced some of my Drayton TRV’s with the smart Tado TRV’s. However I have this installed in the kitchen radiator, the others I just basically unscrewed and screwed the smarts ones, but this one looks different to the chrome Drayton one (see pix)
My question is can this be...
I have a 6 radiator Y plan system with pump over run. There are 5 TRV's on the rads and the living room radiator is open at all times. I have now put Hive thermostatic rad valves on all the radiators with TRV's. It works ok, but there is an annoyance because if for example the bathroom radiator...
I've just moved into a house for the first time where I don't just have a single heating zone. This house has a central timer unit and 4 room thermostats that control 4 Honeywell V4043H1056 valves beside an currently unidentified Johnson Starley combi boiler (although there is also a hot water...

Hi
Just purchased a Wiser 2 starter kit and all is good for those newer/replacement radiators that have Drayton 4 TRV's, but most of the house has the original Vaillant TRVs and the adapters supplied don't allow for this conversion. Does anyone know where I can purchase some adapters please...
Hi,
Does anyone recognise this valve?
It had the same thermostatic head on it as the others in our house but the valve looks totally different, the others were Drayton types i think.
This rad is getting very hot no matter the setting, I took it apart thinking the pin was jammed but I don't...
Looking to replace the TRV head on a radiator but I don't know what brand it is. Does anyone recognise it? Or do you know any replacement TRV heads that would be compatible?
Hi
I am trying to install a radiator smart thermostat but the thread on the radiator connectors valve doesnt fit. (see picture) The valve came with adapters but they are not good. Any suggestion on a adapter which would fit the smart thermostat?

Hello,
First post, and looking for some advice.
I had bought some Hive Radiator Valves (maybe a mistake...), but in principle the idea is excellent - control temperature of individual rooms for specific times without having to keep adjusting the valves - great when working from home.
Hive...
I have a tiny leak coming from the underside of the "nut" at the top of the copper feed pipe on an an old Valiant TRV valve . It probably just needs a tightening or a bit of PTFE . I understand that these are usually compression fittings but I think this might be something different as the way...
I've isolated the trv end and lockshieds end to remove a radiator, however the the trv is still aklowong drips of water to cone through. How do I stop it completely?

Hi All,
I am looking for a replacement TRV head, same brand or equivalent, as the one pictured.
I can't seem to find any matching ones on Google, so would be grateful for your advice.
Many thanks in advance,

Hi,
Just moved in to a house and the radiator is leaking where the trv meets the feeding copper pipe.
I’ve drained the system and had the trv off, it looks like when they’ve changed them they’ve made a small cut on the pipe under the olive. I can only guess this is what’s causing the dripping...
Does anyone know a good source for decorative chrome TRV replacement caps?
I'm slowly working my way through a property, putting all the rads on to a manifold system with local thermostats, manifold flow meters, adjustment for balancing and electrical actuators for each room. So the TRV heads...
Hi,
Can anyone tell me if there is supposed to be any movement between a TRV and the radiator, as have replaced a radiator and tightened the connections as much as possible, but the TRV can still be moved backward and forward.
Many thanks,

Just had an email from a customer, wanting a quote.
How long would it take to fit 21 trvs, 21 locksheilds and 21 vents? The customer wants to buy all the parts. Would you do the job?
Thanks
Not used or come across these before. Went to look at a radiator today. Not working. It has one of the sensor trvs on it. I can't get my hand into the boxing to take head off. Do these have a pin in the valve like a usual trv. They are arranging a builder to dismantle the radiator housing. The...
Hi have just bought the hive TRV's and I'm trying to fit them I have the Danfoss RAS-C2 currently I have managed to unscrew the gray bit and the hole head turns but I cant get it to come off am I missing a step? I didn't install them they came with the house.
Hi, my first post. What should I expect to pay to have 6 new TRV's fitted (per rad)? Is it a job I could do myself with reasonable DIY skills?
Thanks for any help.
