I’m replacing my single skin plastic oil tank with a new bunded oil tank.
I’m going to replace the single 10mm pvc covered oil pipe too, so to keep the number of compression joints to a minimum, I’d like to fit an external tigerloop combi 3 de-aerator (the one that incorporates an isolation...
With regs requesting more oil line pressure testing, what's the best way to test an existing oil line with a tiger loop.
Can you leave it in place or do you exclude form test. ?

Hi all,
Could thick black smoke from the flue of a oil combi be the result of a faulty tigerloop, i wouldnt have thought so myself but have been told by my service engineer that the tigerloop is the problem. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
Been trying to run a new oil line to a property. Line is in 8mm copper with a steady rise of approx 1m over 12 m through a filter, fire valve and into a Tigerloop. On attempting to commission, the tigerloop was foaming like crazy. I checked all the joints, tried again and the same thing...
