Those Calloways is a 1964 American family drama film, adapted from the 1950 children's novel Swiftwater by Paul Annixter. The film was produced by Walt Disney and directed by Norman Tokar. It was the last credit for veteran film composer Max Steiner. It stars Brian Keith, Vera Miles, Brandon de Wilde, Walter Brennan, Ed Wynn and Linda Evans.
Following the patterned formula for Disney family entertainment, the film follows the trials and tribulations of a Vermont family over a period of time as they attempt to establish a sanctuary for the Canada geese that stopover in their rural community during their seasonal migrations.
On-location New England filming contributes to the film's appeal.
Brandon de Wilde had previously worked with Walter Brennan in 1956's Good-bye, My Lady and with Brian Keith in the 3-part The Tenderfoot for Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color in 1964.
I have a Nest thermostat in my hallway. Our lounge radiators have no TRVs and I cannot get them to come on with any decent amount of heat. Should I be leaving the door open to the lounge so that that room calls for heat or do I need to get TRVs. Or does a TRV not help this problem anyway!

Dunno if they're still a thing at all, could be old school only, but I remember seeing these gutter sections about 16" long, maybe 4"ID, 6"OD or something like that, maybe a bit bigger. Ceramic like bricks, but maybe glazed I guess.
Is there anything like that available these days, and if so...
I had a terrible time finding a plumber and I am trying to think of a way to help him
as I have one whom I trust implicitly
thought that I could put a Medium sum of money in his account specifically to cover labour on future jobs
As it’s only labour that is covered then there is no risk to...

Servicing a Riello burner and noticed a weep of fuel from under the pump. When I checked, the O ring under the pump filter cover was hard, like plastic.
Do you guys normally change these, as a matter of course, during a service?
I've set a notice up for newbies that's global. (In all forums and pages). Telling them to report posts they found unhelpful or insulting. We will get a few doing it when they are actually a *****. But some will come through where they're right, a regular has made the forum off-putting for them...

You declare your income and you submit all your material receipts.
But most people end up with a lot of materials on the van. They already claimed the full cost of which offset against their earnings.
Presumably this evens out because you then use them up next year, have less material receipts...
just a question thats probably been done to death but how do you guys go about finding work as i think trust a trader and the like are robbing b5stards thanks in advance
Afternoon all, just wondered if any of you have had any dealings with Atag boilers, as the mobile unit is calling at our offices tomorrow for a demonstration and possible partnership between us.
Many thanks.
Do you ever go to a house, more than once, where things just go wrong ... EVERY TIME YOU GO THERE!!!???
It's like I'm cursed every time I work in this flat!
First time I went I somehow ended up with a nice straight towel rail, stood back and one of the brackets was literally way out - no idea...
Hi. What are those two taps on the flexible Alu pipe under my boiler? What is their role? Are they expected to be both closed all the time?
Please forgive me if the question is silly, but I am having problems with the boiler and I doubt "both taps closed" is the right setting under normal...
Can someone tell me how to use those quote boxes in your reply to someone. The ones where you take what someone else said and post it above your reply so the thread of conversation follows though without people thinking your 3 days behind ! :toetap05:
Thanks
Did you have to give up your personal registration? How did you feel about that?
If anyone did give theirs up and then re-registered, did you get a new number, or the old one again? Did it cost £450ish like a new registration, or was it £150ish like a renewal?
Hi all,
We have just had an extension built which will have a new 938 Vaillant combi boiler for CH and hot water.
This will replace a Baxi back boiler in the existing part of the house.
We are installing a new central heating system in the older part of downstairs and throughout the upstairs...

Those little 24hour mechanical clocks, are they standard on all older boilers such as the ones seen in old Alpha Combis etc, I only ask as I have to change one in a heatline, but they want 100 odd quid for one, they are identical looking others for 10-30 quid!!
