spline
In the mathematical subfield of numerical analysis, a B-spline or basis spline is a spline function that has minimal support with respect to a given degree, smoothness, and domain partition. Any spline function of given degree can be expressed as a linear combination of B-splines of that degree. Cardinal B-splines have knots that are equidistant from each other. B-splines can be used for curve-fitting and numerical differentiation of experimental data.
In computer-aided design and computer graphics, spline functions are constructed as linear combinations of B-splines with a set of control points.
My parents are having a great deal of trouble with their Daryl Hydra shower due to this little plastic part being broken. It's the temperature spline - part number 204292, now discontinued. Has anyone had any luck finding anything that works as an alternative/3D printing a part (or by...
I need to find a plastic temperature spline Daryl or Kohler 204292 or equivalent. It seems that part is discontinued but I'm loathe to replace a whole good quality shower because of a small broken plastic connector. Can anyone help?
Can anyone help me please ...
ive been searching for a 3/8” ceramic valve for my bathroom tap and nowhere seems to stock them anymore.
It’s a mini valve (41mm) with 20 spline 7.5mm ... photo attached from when I purchased one a few years back.
Any help really appreciated.

I have an original Edwardian bath with a tap mixer in the wall. Until recently this all functioned perfectly. Recently though the cold tap has started to slip on the valve spline. By swapping the cold and hot tap heads I know it is the cold tap internal spline that is worn.
I don't want to...
Need to find a replacement for this tap as both spline and cartridge have worn down
Been looking and can't seem to find an identical option, or any that have ceramic piece on crossheads
Believe these aren't made any more, so any advice would be appreciated
Cheers
Customer has 2 bidets with badly dripping taps. Both mixers are ceramic disc. Thought they might be ideal/armitage but there not. I think theyre the same tap just with different heads. Can anyone id them please so I can get the correct valves. If it can't be id'd I will get a few of the...
Hi all,
I have a bathroom basin mixer tap - one of the crosshead handles is missing an arm.
I have been looking for a pair of handles to replace the existing ones and people keep telling me that it would be easier to just buy a new tap.
I am a plumbing newbie - changing the whole tap...
As title - I changed a cartridge on a mono block basin tap and destroyed the plastic insert that attaches to the spline of the cartridge. The tap handle slots onto the plastic bit securing it in place. not a great pic and it only shows about half of the piece.
Thanks
