Hi,
This is my first post so please forgive any errors.
We are installing a woodchip boiler to replace our old oil boiler and have a problem connecting it to the existing heating circuits. We’ve tried to get a plumber but everyone gets scared off when we say it’s a woodchip boiler.
Anyway...

I have never had to work on a bath that has 3 holes on the side. It has the middle with a spout coming out of it, and either side for the levers, i have never had to work on a bath like this, but already know the bath will have to come away from the wall for me to get to it. Is there a mixer...

Like many I have a gravity fed system and upstairs only have about 1.8m from bottom of header tank to bath taps However when I moved in I was surprised to find that the main piping was done in 28mm upstairs to within 3m of the baths and basins at which point it went to 22mm to bath and 15 to...

Hi all,
I've installed one of these today, finished tiling it in etc. On running the shower, good flow regardless of temperature setting but even on max temperature the temp is only luke warm (but noticeably warmer than min temperature).
Obviously the shower is now tiles in etc and access...
i have a client that wants a lower hot water temperature at his taps, I have recommended placing a mixer valve at the outlet of the hot water cylinder to reduce the temp.
i don’t want to drop the cylinder stat down, and a mixer at each tap would more expensive.
Its an open feed cylinder...

Hi,
I'm looking to add a UFH zone to my current CH and DHW system that runs on a Y plan. I'm not a plumber or electrician and all the info I can find on the net seems to suggest going to an S plan to make the three systems independent. The electrician I'm using is suggesting just tieing the UFH...

Hi I am installing a shower thermostatic mixer valve and I am not sure which side connects the hot or cold. The temp. adjuster is on the right as you look at it. It is a crosswater Kai valve.

Strange behaviour of a shower mixer run off a combi boiler: when I run the shower and try and use the mixer valve it only runs cold if the hot is completely off. If I try mixing hot into the stream the temperature rises to full hot only, which is uncomfortable, and when I switch back to full...

Can I run this system from this existing combi? I want to have...
